Uncover the Real You
The whole Bible is filled with promises to those who are in Christ Jesus: promises of healing, prosperity, and success. What are some of them? Take a look:
Psalm 138:8—The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands.
Philippians 2:12-13—Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
Psalm 37:23—The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.
Proverbs 16:9—A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.
Romans 8:28—And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
1 Corinthians 1:30—But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.
Philippians 4:19 KJV—And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15:57—But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:37—Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
2 Corinthians 2:14—Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
Philippians 4:13—I can do all things through Christ[a] who strengthens me.
Revelation 12:11—And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
2 Corinthians 3:18—But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
These are just a few of the verses that describe the real you. As you base your identity on the Word of God, you will be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ and all that He is. That is the real you: happy, content, peaceful, hopeful, and confident… in Him.
