Do You Know How Much God Loves You?

dealingfear3

The second key to dealing with fear is that you can’t love somebody else until you have a revelation of how much God loves you. First John 4:16–17 says:

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.  Read More…

Dealing With the Spirit of Fear, part 2

dealingfear2

Fear is an absolute deadly force in anyone’s life. Last week, we took a look at the truth that perfect love casts out fear. Today, I want to show you how perfected love can become a reality in your life.

The first thing you need to do is remain in fellowship with God. The more time you spend abiding in Him and being aware of His presence in your life, the more your eyes will begin to change to see others the way God sees them.  Read More…

Dealing With the Spirit of Fear, part 1

dealingfear

The spirit of fear operating in the human life will choke out the fruit of God’s Word.

Second Timothy 1:7 says that God has not given us a spirit of fear. That means if you are touched by fear, which is often evidenced by worry, anxiety, and cares—it’s not from the Lord. How do you get rid of fear? Well, 1 John 4:18 tells us that the spiritual antidote for fear is love: “There is no fear in love but perfect love casteth out fear.”  Read More…

Our purpose is to learn the principles that govern the process of healing—and receiving anything in faith from God—and apply them in our own lives.  Read More…

The Armor of God Equips You to Persevere

Do you want to know how to persevere? Study Ephesians 6:10–18.

In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. (verse 10–12 Amp.)

Your spouse is not your problem. Your boss isn’t your problem. No person around you is your problem. You are in the middle of a spiritual battle, and a host of spiritual forces is arrayed against the will of God for your life. That may be difficult for you to wrap your mind around, but it is one of those eternal realm truths that you can’t validate by sensory perception. You have to take this as truth because it’s what the Word of God reveals.  Read More…
